The villa's full size, 38 meter x 18 meter, AstroTurf tennis court is an uncommon but attractive private home feature. It engages not only the buffs but those others who previously lacked opportunity or were unwilling to try it out in a public setting. Being unshared and fully private allows the team or family to coax and coach each other, without holding back the enthusiasts.

A Pool for All Ages

A beautiful 22 meter pool that captivates and reflectively centers the entire villa also caters to every member of a family. Deep end for the older kids, large paddling areas for for little ones, a straight 22 meter center section for exercizing and a shallow end next to the billiard room for those just wanting to cool off and chat.

Billiard Room

The open bale billiard room lies at the social focal point of the villa and is within easy conversational reach of those lazing in the pool. A full size, 12 foot x 6 foot slate based table, on break days, is always in use through to evening. Drinks and snacks are immediately at hand from staff in the adjoining kitchen.

Videophile Movie Theater

As a work room or for family use the videophile movie theater is a major asset. Even the most avidly watched movie or frequently played game takes on different life when vividly projected in high definition on a 147 inch screen with a full range sound system.

Infinity Starlight Spa Pool

Evening brings a different magic to the villa as attractive subdued lighting contrasts with the deep blackness of the ravines and jungle. The overflow spa pool is under a canopy of starlight with fireflies also glimmering. Naturally this is a favorite spot for many to gather and enjoy the unforgettable ambiance - or exclusively enjoyed by the apartment.

For the Ubud Shoppers

The shops, markets and galleries of Ubud provide a famously attractive shopping experience and literally thousands of visitors journey up daily from the coastal resorts for that purpose. For many the villa's easy and convenient but still family intact access to the town becomes a major attraction. It's quite seductive to start off the day with an early yoga class, wander around the fascinating streets and pop in for healthy morning or afternoon refreshments offered by the town's famous eateries. Plus of course discovering Ubud shopping.

Villa Private Bus

An 8 passenger bus is used for airport & hotels transfers but also available for guests usage - the charge is cost recovery only. It most often ends up being used as the shoppers' own, very private shuttle. No need to wait around, just summon it when ready to go across to town or return to the villa. Out in the morning, back home for lunch and a swim, return to town for the afternoon before rejoining for evening at the villa. The 25 minute daytime journey has much to offer scenically, so much so that many locations along the way, particularly in Bongkasa, were chosen and used in the Ubud area filming of the movie Eat Pray Love.

Activities

Just outside of the villa are many of the island's foremost recreational activities. Most rafting finishing points are within 5 minutes of the villa entry and the starting points around 10 to 15 minutes. The now highly popular "Bali Swings" are spread along the village ravine with a multitude of operators & within a short drive or leisurely walk. Likewise, a riverland Elephant park, the Sangeh monkey forest, an ATV trek and Paintball complex, cycling and river valley trekking are either a short walk or easy drive. Many resident families are strongly interested in the famous Bali Green School - 15 minutes down river from the villa.

The guest suites are well-appointed with elegant full, 2 meter x 2 meter, King size beds and air conditioning. All feature elaborate ensuite bathrooms with 2 person Jetted Jacuzzi Spa bath tubs, separate showers, twin basin marble vanities and private garden courts.

The suites, inclusive of ensuite facilities and courts, average 1300 sq. feet/120 sq. meters with polished timber floors and hand woven rugs. Two visitors powder rooms are provided external to the suites, and finished to the same level as the ensuite

Comfort and practiality are well integrated with the timelessly romantic style of the suites. All five, while located within thatched roofed pavillions, are lockable and secure brick structures. Their plaster ceilings stop insect droppings from thatch and allow airconditioners to operate effectively .

Due to Bali Gita's popularity for large family occasions, additional full size 4 poster canopied beds are held ready at the villa and included in the rental for no additional charge. A childs bed as well as cots, high chairs, capsules and car seats are also on hand.

Large families and groups frequently share the villa rental and for this reason it is important that all 5 suites, while individual, have a very similar level of size, facilities and furnishings.

Equity of the suites has been elegantly achieved at Bali Gita. For example the Honeymoon suite trades off a slightly smaller bedroom and a compact bathroom for an attached spa pool, private veranda and great seclusion. At the other extreme, rooms 4 and 5 are identical to each other (that's why only the room 4 pictures are shown above) but have the largest bedrooms, while their smaller internal bathrooms are complemented with separate garden jacuzzis, each in its own thatched gazebo.
